Indiapost24 Web Desk: Amid this nationwide lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, today the Minakhan Police distributes ration and food to the poor who are struggling to earn a single meal a day.
The police provides these food commodities to more or less 110 families of daily wage workers and rickshaw pullers in Minakhan block areas properly maintaining Lockdown rules by ensuring people maintain social distance during this essential food items distribution..
Beneficiaries who collect food items from the distribution said " it is a great help from our Police Administration,we are thankful to them"
A similar distribution drive was conducted across the Bashirhat Police Dist to help the needy during this lockdown under the direction of SP Bashirhat Police Dist.
Speaking to Indiapost24, SP Bashirhat IPS Kankar Prosad Barui said, " Bashirhat Dist Police is not only enforcing lockdown by working round the clock but is also helping poor and disadvanced people by providing them in getting food and ration everywhere under its jurisdiction Police stations."
"Today under Minakhan Police Station we are delivering ration at their doorstep to old aged and needy people.The cops will continue to work tirelessly to help the needy," he said.
