Already Juggling COVID-19 Duties, Now Relief Work by Nazat Police Station Team!!

Sohag Bhattacharjee,Indiapost24 Web Desk, May 27 : After the drastic super cyclone Amphan,one of the most affected districts were North 24 Parganas,Minakhan,Nazat,Sandeshkhali and Hingalganj were among the worst affected areas this district.

As the State reeled under the effects of Cyclone Amphan (in addition to the deadly Coronavirus) Police has shown their mettle by rendering their untiring and selfless services to the affected people in distress and bringing succor to them by all possible means.The police personnel across the whole Bashirhat District reached out people in distress, and effectively handled the restoration of road and communication network in the far flung areas of the District.

The Nazat Police Station Team also commenced distributing dry foods at the highly affected & waterlogged remote areas of Nazat Block.The Team are distributing dry foods including puffed rice, Batasha, Large packets of Mari Biscuits and Water pouches amongst the remote areas namely Nazat Kachari Para, Nazat Mahato Para, Netaji Palli, Chandpara, Najat Para No. 4. And the relief is continued by them.

Even the Nazat Police Station has been water lodged till today.Its been four long days but the water logging problem has not been solved in the Nazat Block Areas so the official works cannot be persued properly as snaked and other infectious water insects are creating problems for the Officers.

Police Quarters are also closed and there is a great scarcity of food over there. Police officers also had to depend on the dry foods. If the government officials have to face so much of trouble then how will they work for the common people in this crisis moment.

As per the source,the water logging problem is still persistent even after four days because of the irresponsible behavior of the Irrigation Department in this severe crisis moment. According to the source the problem was created due to the two bhata areas alongside the police station. In this conditions the police team is serving the houses in the remote areas.
