Swapnaleena Paul, June 2: The COVID-19 pandamic has changed the senario of the world. Thousands of people are suffering from this deadly virus and many lost their lives. Throughout the world there is a terror of this deadly virus and every nation has totally locked down it's streets and people are shut in their home for the past few months so that the spread of the virus can be controlled.
The police patrol in the Indian states takes serious measures for those who violates the law of curfew whenever declared by Govt and social distancing especially in Bengal. Thus in our city Kolkata, the Traffic police always takes very high initiatives to bring the lockdown into a successful program among the residents of the city.. They are not only taking measures to restrict people to go out on streets but also they are regularly helping those who have urgent business during the lockdown period and many other ways.
As per the healthcare organization , wearing masks while going out during the pandamic has become mandatory since masks helps in protecting from the COVID-19 virus.
Earlier today in Kolkata as directed by CM Mamata Banerjee, almost 40000 masks in 25 Traffic Guard Stations in all over Kolkata have been distributed among pedestrians, to the poor and to those who haven't had a mask on while they were on street all over Kolkata under the supervision of DCP Traffic Kolkata,IPS Rupesh Kumar.
Speaking to Indiapost24,DCP Kumar has added these are being distributed to make people aware regarding wearing of masks and precautions to prevent Corona.
